Will Money Makes You Happy?
It is almost two weeks now that the Philippine Lotto outlets are full of people waiting their turn to buy the 6/49 lotto ticket. Many are taking chances to try their luck in this game of chance. I for one am taking that chance. The jackpot money rises to almost 250 million pesos. That is a big amount of money. It really makes a difference if you will be the one winning the jackpot. I’ve been joking with my officemates regarding the question “What are you going to do with the money granting you will be the winner?. Many can’t decide, even me can’t. One said he will franchise a Jollibee outlet. Another one said she will stop working and will focus on a business instead. Well, they have their own reasons. With this global recession going on we always have the spirit to uplift ourselves with sometimes hopeless situation. It is our way of life. Many put their hopes in Lotto, the game of chance with a least probability of winning.

I think if you used the money wisely, it could make you happy. If you paid off your mortgage, invested the rest, maybe helped a family member who needed it, it would really reduce your stress. I would have a little fun with some of the money, like taking a cruise. If you just wasted the money on silly stuff and in a year or so were right back where you started, I don't think it would make you happy.
